A Name for the Home

In 1995, my husband and I were fortunate to buy some acreage in the country. When we first looked at the property, it had a 1200 square foot metal home on one acre. I stepped out of the car and the feeling I had was indescribable. I immediately told my husband,” This is the place, I don’t even need to see the inside of the house.” There was a cool breeze coming from the South and a serene feeling because of the closeness of nature. The site had the feeling of home – I belonged.

Later that week, I visited my friend who owned a rock shop where I would normally browse for at least thirty minutes. This day I had to hurry in and out, though. But before I left, there was one other customer in the room and I could not take my eyes off of her eyes. Her eyes were large, calming and serene and I watched her go across the room – she appeared to float. When she got to the register to check out I said to my friend, “Sorry I have to leave so soon; help me figure out a name for the acreage.” She said O.K., and I was on my way.

Fifteen minutes later, my friend calls and says, “Diana you remember the lady who was in the shop the same time you were and neither of us recognized or knew her?” I said sure and asked why. My friend said, “She told me to tell you to name your home, ‘Angels’ Way’.” Chills went up my spine because the brand on the gate with the initials of the former owner was AW. I had the feeling I had just received a gift from an angel in physical form.

During the first year living there, I also found a rock formation with the shape AW. I had spent the last three years looking for a special place to move to and had written down what I had in mind. This is one of my angel experiences where I’ve put in a request and would say, “Thank You” for the results. Especially in this day in time – be very aware and descriptive of what you ask for because there’s a good chance it will come true. Be sure to say “Thank You” when it does come about, and only make a request which is “pure of heart.”
